What is an Awe Active Citizen?

An Awe Active Citizen is someone who is actively involved in promoting positive change and contributing to the improvement of their community through the use of the Awe Initiative. Who can be an Active Citizen?

Can the Reporting buttons be customized?

Yes, the reporting buttons in the Awe Responder app can be fully customized according to the needs of the organization or community using the app. There are 12 buttons available that can be programmed to send reports or communicate with the command center or other responders on their network. The buttons can be configured to send various types of reports, including incident reports, infrastructure reports, or any other type of report that is relevant to the organization or community using the app.

How do I report an Issue using the App?

The app provides a simple and easy-to-use interface that allows you to report issues related to safety, security, and service delivery in your area.

To report an issue, you simply need to open the Awe App, select the applicable button of the issue you want to report. You can choose from various buttons such as crime, fire, medical emergency, roadworks, GBV, CPF, Water, Electrical, Ward Councillor Reports, and more.

Once you have selected the category, you can provide additional details about the issue, including the location, a description of the problem, and any supporting images or videos. You can also choose to report the issue anonymously or provide your contact information if you want to be updated on the status of your report.

  7. Environmental and infrastructure monitoring officials
  8. Private Sector Service Companies…
